Some shows like Better Off Ted, Scrubs (you're reading that right, it returns for a 9th season), and Lost won't return until midseason. I don't really care for much on ABC, so I don't have much to say about this lineup. Although a whole new slate on Wednesday is risky. And moving Ugly Betty to Fridays is surprising. I don't watch the show, but if I were a fan I'd be angry/worried about that move.

The Dollhouse renewal has raised tons of discussion about how smaller shows without the mammoth ratings can still be appealing to networks b/c they have a dedicated and reliable fanbase.

If you’re thinking that Tyler’s new show and Michele/Tara’s new contract at Fox mean the show isn’t coming back: Tyler says that Reaper has contractual priority and anyway will be a midseason show, and Tara told us that she and Michele would still be consultants if Reaper gets a third season. So, write!
